Poll: Should Rod Rosenstein Be Impeached? (poll below)
Congress is totally fed up with the Deep State Department of Justice. Rod Rosenstein, is still refusing to comply with congressional subpoenas, proving yet again that D.C. elites believe they are above the law.
Rosenstein’s impeachment date has been set if he does not comply. If he does not turn over documents by July 6, 2018, he will be impeached.
Most Americans feel he should be gone by now, but there is no doubt Rosenstein is drawing out the investigation out as long as possible and causing as much confusion and damage as possible, a true cowardly and angry Democrat.
We found this post on Breitbart.com that elaborates in more detail: Wednesday on CNN’s “At This Hour,” network congressional correspondent Manu Raju questioned Freedom Caucus chairman Rep. Mark Meadows (R-NC) about the House’s attempt to get documents turned over by Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.
Meadows warned noncompliance could mean impeachment for Rosenstein.
Partial transcript as follows:
RAJU: There is a big fight among the Republicans and the Justice Department to provide a number of records over to the House as part of the Russia and Clinton investigations. Mark Meadow, who is a congressman who sits on the House Oversight Committee and has a resolution case that the House will vote on tomorrow that would actually compel the Justice Department to provide records by July 6, and he told me earlier that if those records aren’t turned over to Congress by then, Rod Rosenstein should be impeached.
You have a resolution by July 6 and if he does not turn this over, Rod Rosenstein, should the House hold him in contempt or impeach him?
MEADOWS: I think indeed if all of the documents are not complied with by July 6, providing we vote on that resolution tomorrow, which I believe we will do, the speaker, as indicated, we will vote on the House floor tomorrow on that resolution. If they’re not here by July 6, then certainly contempt and impeachment will be in order." (source, about the author)
